Le Dr Laura Corominas est chercheuse au sein du groupe de chirurgie orthopédique et traumatologie de l’Institut de Recerca Sant Joan de Déu (IRSJD). Entre 2012 et 2018, elle a fait partie du groupe de recherche sur les maladies ostéo-musculaires de l’IdISBa (Palma).

Sa thèse de doctorat, obtenue avec mention cum laude à l’Universitat de les Illes Balears en 2014, portait sur la croissance de rebond après hémiépiphysiodèse dans un modèle animal expérimental, avec une bourse FIS de l’Instituto de Salud Carlos III.
