Dr. Laura Corominas is a researcher in the Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology group of the Institut de Recerca Sant Joan de Déu (IRSJD). Between 2012 and 2018 she was a member of the musculoskeletal diseases research group at IdISBa (Palma).

Her doctoral thesis, awarded cum laude by the Universitat de les Illes Balears in 2014, studied rebound growth after hemiepiphysiodesis in an experimental animal model, with an FIS grant from the Instituto de Salud Carlos III.
