Dr. Laura Corominas is a specialist in Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology who devotes her practice to paediatric orthopaedics, in particular the foot and ankle of children and adolescents. Since 2020 she has worked at Hospital Sant Joan de Déu in Barcelona, where she is in charge of the paediatric foot and ankle unit.
She previously worked for 10 years at Hospital Universitario Son Espases (Palma), where she coordinated the neuromuscular unit of paediatric orthopaedics, and completed her training at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics and at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
As a mother, she understands parents’ concern when something is not right with their child’s foot. Her aim is to explain clearly what is happening to the child, what the options are and what to expect at each stage.
